Beware of “gas leak” scam
Xuan Thao Gas would like to urgently inform customers about some cases of impersonating Xuan Thao Gas employees to enter customers’ homes to report gas leaks and request to bring gas cylinders for repair. The impostors then removed the gas cylinder from the valve and stole it.
We would like to update the latest cases of customers of Xuan Thao Gas being scammed below:

The trick of these scammers is to keep a close eye on the gas delivery person after the new gas cylinder has been delivered on behalf of the customer who requested it. When the gas delivery staff just left the customer’s house for a few minutes, the fraudsters burst into the customer’s house immediately, followed by confusing the customer by announcing that the installed gas cylinder has leaked, lack of weight … need to be brought back to the dealer who just delivered the gas for repair (although at the time of gas delivery, Xuan Thao Gas’s staff checked for leaks and turned on the stove to work normally) and then after that “one go, no return”.
Customers have not had time to settle down, these scammers quickly remove the gas cylinder and take it away. Customers who waited for a long time did not bring the gas tank back and called Xuan Thao Gas to ask questions, only to find out that they were cheated.
Customers need to beware of “gas leak” scam with identities:

- Do not wear the Agent’s own uniform (on the separate uniform with phone number, Store name …)
- Taking advantage of women, maids, children, the elderly … at home alone to approach
- Rushing action, snapping
