Lead purchasing, negotiations and supplier development to secure the right material quality and timing while optimising each project’s total cost.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Receive and execute purchase requests from departments.
- Search for materials, obtain quotes, and compare suppliers.
- Check inventory with Accounting to ensure materials for projects are correct and sufficient.
- Search for key material suppliers (domestic and international). Negotiate prices.
- Process payments and track accounts payable to suppliers.
- Report product-quality issues and coordinate post-purchase warranty service.
Job Requirements
- College degree or higher, majoring in Business Administration, Import-Export, etc.
- 3 years of experience in a Purchasing position (M&E systems, construction).
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in office computing.
- Honest, careful, hardworking, highly disciplined, and self-motivated.
- Technical knowledge is an advantage.
